Stressing Out

Stress reminders…. we know these but get so busy we forget!

  • Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe
  • Get enough sleep
  • Allow extra time to get where you are going
  • Laugh, then laugh some more
  • Live within your budget
  • Slow down
  • Have backups: extra car keys in your wallet, extra house key buried, etc.
  • Take your work seriously, but yourself, not at all
  • Develop a forgiving attitude
  • Delegate tasks to capable others
  • Say no to projects that don’t fit your schedule or compromise your mental health
  • Be kind to unkind people. They probably need it the most
  • Put joy in every day
